Fire & Safety Officer

About the role

Almarai is seeking a Fire & Safety Officer to protect its people, assets and operations at the Hail site. You will lead fire safety initiatives, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive a culture of prevention across the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee safety of all personnel, contractors and visitors at Hail locations and accommodations.
• Identify and report unsafe equipment, practices or conditions and ensure prompt corrective actions.
• Manage fire detection and suppression systems, conduct regular inspections and maintenance.
• Plan and execute fire drills, fire‑prevention training and emergency response procedures.
• Investigate fire incidents, perform risk assessments and implement risk‑management measures.
• Prepare incident and accident reports and maintain accurate safety records.
• Supervise safety team members and coordinate work planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Member of IOSHE and ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor certification.
• 3‑5 years of fire management experience, preferably in a multicultural environment.
• Trained firefighter background with civil fire brigade or large multinational fire team.
• Strong supervisory and work‑planning abilities.
• Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.
