Fleet Deputy Project Director – Onshore

About the role

Alstom is seeking a full‑time Fleet Deputy Project Director (Onshore) to lead the integration of a new train fleet into existing infrastructure in Riyadh. You will act as the representative of the Project Director, coordinating onshore activities, managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring project delivery meets contractual and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Director in optimizing project financial performance, including margin and cash flow.
• Manage customer and external stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements.
• Oversee the integration of new trains into existing onshore infrastructure.
• Coordinate communication between onshore and offshore teams.
• Lead key project phases such as testing, commissioning, customer acceptance and warranty.
• Proactively manage risks, opportunities and compliance with applicable standards.
• Ensure Quality, Cost, Delivery, Planning (QCDP) and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) performance.
• Handle contract management and variation orders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree.
• At least 10 years of project management experience in the railway industry.
• Experience working with multinational companies and diverse cultures.
• Strong leadership, communication and team‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Knowledge of railway products and systems.
• Experience in conflict and crisis management.
