Fleet Management Specialist

About the role

flyadeal is seeking a data‑driven Fleet Management Specialist to support strategic decisions on aircraft leasing, acquisitions, retirements and special operations such as ACMI and Hajj/Umrah. You will use analytical tools to improve fleet utilization, reduce operational costs and enhance route profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze lease terms, benchmark against market data and model the financial impact of lease extensions or terminations.
• Build cost models for ACMI and Hajj/Umrah operations to guide aircraft induction, retirements and sustainability initiatives.
• Monitor aircraft downtime, block hours, fuel consumption and maintenance delays to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with Network Planning to simulate fleet deployment scenarios and optimise route profitability.
• Develop dashboards and executive reports covering fleet performance, sustainability metrics, economics, risks and opportunities.
• Support the creation and maintenance of departmental SOPs and manuals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Finance, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet planning or a comparable role.
• Strong understanding of aircraft leasing regulations and fleet management processes.
• Excellent communication, critical‑thinking and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work flexibly in a fast‑paced environment.
