Fleet Project Engineer

About the role

The Fleet Project Engineer leads strategic engineering, procurement and operational projects that boost fleet capability, cut costs and raise product quality. This position manages the full project lifecycle, from planning and stakeholder coordination to execution and post‑project review, ensuring compliance with technical standards, commercial agreements and airline objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering and procurement projects across Technical and Operations departments, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to deliver on time and on target.
• Conduct post‑project reviews, capture lessons learned and provide feedback for future contract negotiations and project delivery.
• Oversee contractual and financial aspects, ensuring contracts meet business needs, monitoring vendor performance and resolving disputes.
• Monitor project budgets, analyse variances, prepare leadership reports highlighting cost‑saving opportunities and financial risks.
• Manage aircraft delivery and lease‑end redelivery processes, guaranteeing technical and contractual compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• PMP certification.
• Minimum 6 years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years in project management.
• Strong knowledge of airworthiness, aircraft engineering, maintenance and technical operations.
• Hands‑on experience with aircraft delivery, redelivery and lease agreements.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
