Fleet Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Fleet Supervisor to manage daily fleet operations, ensuring maximum vehicle availability, safety, compliance, and cost efficiency. The role is ideal for candidates with experience in transportation fleets within fast‑paced logistics or supply‑chain environments.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily fleet activities to guarantee vehicle availability and operational efficiency.
• Allocate vehicles and assign drivers according to business and delivery needs.
• Monitor fleet utilization, identify productivity improvements, and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with workshops and service providers.
• Ensure all vehicles have valid registrations, insurance, inspections, and regulatory documentation.
• Track fuel consumption, maintenance expenses, and other fleet‑related costs to support cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Investigate accidents, damages, traffic violations, and incidents, implementing corrective actions.
• Oversee driver performance, attendance, compliance, and safety procedures.
• Support driver onboarding, training, and performance improvement programs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Warehouse, Procurement, Finance, and external vendors for smooth fleet operations.
• Prepare accurate fleet records, reports, and operational documentation.
• Generate regular performance reports and KPIs for management review.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in fleet operations, transportation, logistics, or supply chain.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience managing commercial vehicles, vans, trucks, or distribution fleets.
• Strong knowledge of fleet management, vehicle maintenance, compliance, cost control, route planning, and vendor management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and reporting abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced operational environment.
