Floor Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented, customer‑focused Floor Supervisor to join our team at Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah in Saudi Arabia. In this role you will lead the housekeeping team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train and evaluate room attendants, housekeepers and other cleaning personnel.
• Ensure all cleaning procedures meet the hotel’s quality standards and intervene when necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces to maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, guaranteeing adequate stock levels.
• Coordinate staff schedules, breaks and daily assignments to optimise productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, chemical usage and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months (3 years) of supervisory experience in housekeeping or a similar hospitality environment.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, guest‑centric setting.
• Good communication skills in English.
