FMMA Mechanical Engineer – Technical Support for Hard Services

About the role

The FMMA Mechanical Engineer will provide technical support and governance for Hard Services delivery across assigned sites, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, SLA/KPI targets, and HSE standards. The role involves monitoring contractor performance, tracking preventive and reactive maintenance, and supporting audit readiness for MEP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support oversight of Hard Services delivery and ensure contractor compliance with technical standards.
• Track PPM schedules and reactive work orders through CMMS, monitor backlog and drive timely closure.
• Collect, validate and report performance data for SLA/KPI monitoring.
• Assist in technical inspections and audits, identify non‑compliance, and support NCR/CAPA tracking.
• Maintain up‑to‑date SOPs, permits, method statements and maintenance records.
• Support permit‑to‑work compliance, safety inspections and risk mitigation in line with HSE standards.
• Assist with asset verification, documentation review and readiness activities during mobilization and handover.
• Prepare inputs for reports on PPM performance, backlog, incidents and technical issues.
• Coordinate with FMC team, contractors and client representatives to ensure smooth service delivery.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of MEP systems.
• Familiarity with FM standards (SFG20, NFPA, SBC, CIBSE, ASHRAE).
• Understanding of ISO standards (41001, 9001, 45001, 14001) and HSE requirements.
• Experience with PPM/reactive maintenance tracking and permit‑to‑work systems.
• SLA/KPI monitoring and basic audit/inspection processes.
• Proficiency in CMMS (e.g., Maximo) and PMS procedures.
• Use of KPI monitoring tools, reporting dashboards and document management systems (SharePoint, EDMS).
