Forklift & Reach Truck Operator

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Forklift & Reach Truck Operator to safely move, store, retrieve and stage raw materials, packaging supplies and finished goods across our warehouse and production areas. The role supports both ambient and temperature‑controlled zones while maintaining strict food‑safety and GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklifts and high‑reach trucks to unload inbound shipments, load outbound vehicles and transport ingredients to production staging areas.
• Scan pallets and place them in designated rack locations using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), following FEFO protocols and verifying lot numbers and pallet condition.
• Perform daily pre‑operational safety inspections, log checks, and basic maintenance such as battery charging, fluid top‑ups and brake checks.
• Maintain aisle, rack and dock cleanliness to comply with GMP and HACCP standards, and report spills, damages or equipment failures immediately.
• Work safely in ambient, chilled and frozen storage environments without causing temperature fluctuations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Heavy Equipment Operator License and certified Forklift & Reach Truck Driving Permit.
• 2–3 years of experience operating high‑reach trucks and forklifts in a fast‑paced warehouse or food‑manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work comfortably in cold‑storage environments and at height.
