About the role

Base360.ai is creating an AI operating system for short‑term rental businesses. As a Founder in Residence you will not join an existing department; you will build a new product or business vertical from the ground up, leveraging the company’s AI, engineering, design, and customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Identify high‑potential opportunities in the short‑term rental market and define a new product or business vertical.
• Validate customer problems through research and direct conversations with property managers and rental operators.
• Set product vision, strategy, and go‑to‑market plan, and work with engineering, product, design, and AI teams to launch quickly.
• Recruit, lead, and grow a multidisciplinary team as the venture scales.
• Own growth, product adoption, customer success, and financial performance, making data‑driven decisions.
• Present progress to the founders and executive team and ultimately become the long‑term General Manager of the venture.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and strong problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to recruit and inspire high‑performing teams.
• Highly analytical with strong execution capabilities and comfort working in ambiguous environments.
• Obsession with customers and building products people love.
• Experience with AI technologies and a passion for leveraging them in product development.
