Freelance Phlebotomist – Home Visits in Riyadh, Jeddah & Dammam

About the role

We are seeking experienced freelance phlebotomists to provide safe, accurate blood sample collection at patients' homes across Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam. The role focuses on delivering a patient‑centered experience while ensuring specimen integrity for laboratory analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Perform professional venipuncture and blood sample collection during scheduled home visits.
• Verify patient identity and confirm test orders before collection.
• Label, document, and handle specimens according to laboratory protocols.
• Maintain sample integrity, storage, and timely transportation to the designated laboratory or courier.
• Apply infection control, biosafety, and standard precautions at all times.
• Explain procedures and preparation requirements clearly to patients.
• Coordinate with laboratories or couriers to ensure prompt delivery.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and medical information.
• Report any collection difficulties, incidents, or rejected samples promptly.
• Keep phlebotomy equipment clean, ready, and properly stocked.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
• Valid SCFHS professional classification/registration.
• 2–4 years of proven phlebotomy experience; home‑healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid Saudi driving license and reliable transportation.
• Fluent Arabic and English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, patient safety, and confidentiality.
