Full-Stack Software Engineer — Ruby

About the role

We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the Autobia team. You will work primarily on a Ruby on Rails codebase, focusing on backend services, data, and integrations while also handling front‑end tasks when needed. The role supports high‑volume money‑movement transactions, requiring strong reliability and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Build, ship, and operate Rails backend services and full‑stack features.
• Own work end‑to‑end: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external services.
• Write clear, maintainable code and contribute to technical decisions within the squad.

Required profile

• Mid‑senior full‑stack engineer with a backend focus and solid Ruby on Rails experience.
• 3–5 years of professional full‑stack experience.
• Strong fundamentals in API design, data modeling, relational databases, and testing.
• Comfortable across the stack and able to debug front‑end features when required.
• Proven experience with high‑traffic, high‑throughput systems.
• Ownership mindset: can take a problem from ambiguity to shipped and supported.
