About the role
The Lifeguard ensures the safety of guests using the hotel pool, monitors swimming areas for hazards, and creates a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. This full‑time position is based at the St. Regis Riyadh property.
Key responsibilities
- Observe swimmers, intervene with rescue techniques when needed, and assist injured guests until emergency services arrive.
- Promote and enforce pool rules, report unsafe conditions, and maintain a clean pool deck by washing, mopping, and handling towels.
- Welcome guests, ensure professional appearance, and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities.
- Inspect equipment for defects, move and lift objects up to 50 lb unaided, and follow all safety and confidentiality policies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior lifeguard experience required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work full‑time, respond quickly to emergencies, and stand or walk for extended periods.
