GC&E Sales Executive – Group Conference & Events

About the role

The GC&E Sales Executive provides administrative and sales support to the Group, Conference & Events team, ensuring client requests are handled efficiently and that proposals, quotations, and contracts are prepared to a high standard. The role acts as a liaison between clients and internal departments to deliver seamless event experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries, requests, and correspondence promptly and professionally.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, offer letters, contracts, and other sales‑related documents.
• Coordinate group, conference, meeting and event requirements with relevant hotel departments.
• Maintain accurate records of client information, leads, opportunities and sales activities.
• Follow up on proposals and pending opportunities to support conversion and revenue generation.
• Assist the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships.
• Support the preparation of sales presentations, reports and business development materials.
• Ensure all contracts and documentation comply with company standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Events, Finance and other departments to communicate client requirements effectively.
• Participate in site inspections, client meetings and event‑related arrangements as needed.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in English and Arabic.
• Strong administrative capabilities with high organisational standards.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and building brand reputation.
• Experience in the hotel industry is welcome; candidates from events companies are also encouraged to apply.
