Gen AI Engineer – Computer Vision & Edge Computing

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking for a Gen AI Engineer to design, develop and deploy advanced computer vision models that process multiple real‑time camera streams for its clients in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on video analytics, object detection, tracking, segmentation and scene understanding, leveraging edge computing and GPU optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy computer vision models for real‑time multi‑camera streams.
• Build and optimise deep‑learning pipelines using CNNs, YOLO, auto‑encoders, vision‑language models and OCR.
• Fine‑tune and train YOLO, VLM and OCR models (e.g., Paddle OCR) for image and video understanding.
• Collaborate with data‑engineering teams to create annotation pipelines and curate large‑scale datasets.
• Use annotation tools such as Label Studio or CVAT to ensure high‑quality labelled data.
• Deploy models with NVIDIA Deep Stream SDK, Docker and micro‑services architecture for scalable production.
• Develop APIs and backend services using FastAPI for model inference and integration.
• Continuously improve model performance through experimentation, evaluation and feedback loops.

Required profile

• Strong background in computer vision, deep learning and edge deployment.
• Experience with large‑scale vision datasets and data curation tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices for vision systems.
