General Ledger Analyst

About the role

The General Ledger Analyst will ensure the integrity of the company’s ledger, supporting accurate and timely financial reporting for Plaza Premium Group in Jeddah. You will work closely with the Finance team to record, reconcile and close accounting transactions in line with IFRS and Saudi regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, pre‑payments and depreciation.
• Perform balance‑sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
• Maintain accurate general‑ledger accounts and ensure proper period posting.
• Review account balances, investigate variances and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and other finance functions.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls and KSA regulations.
• Prepare supporting documentation for audits and assist external/internal auditors.
• Identify process improvements for ledger and closing procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3‑4 years of general‑ledger accounting experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet reporting deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• ERP experience – Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or Sun Systems.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS and Saudi accounting regulations.
