General Ledger Lead

We are seeking a General Ledger Lead to oversee the integrity of our financial records and ensure compliance with global accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with international and locally accepted accounting principles, regulations, and relevant local laws, resulting in consistent and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee revenue processing, expense management, general ledger maintenance, invoicing, and data entry to guarantee accurate and timely month‑end close and consolidation of all financial records and accounts.
• Coordinate and align business requirements, accounting principles, and reporting standards, leading to streamlined financial operations and reporting accuracy.
• Design and produce various financial reports that reflect robust accounting principles and standards, ensuring accurate income recording and financial integrity.
• Analyse data derived from the General Ledger, identify discrepancies, and provide guidance for further investigation to maintain reliable financial records.
• Liaise with departments and subsidiaries to resolve outstanding matters, ensuring accurate and timely account reconciliations.
• Execute payments, contracts, accruals, bank transactions, and other financial activities in accordance with internal controls, statutory requirements, and international standards.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities related to corporate accounting processes, systems, and practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience managing a General Ledger.
