General Manager Human Resources

About the role

The General Manager Human Resources partners with business leaders to design and execute people strategies that align with organisational goals. This senior role oversees the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition to employee relations, ensuring data‑driven decisions and compliance across all HR functions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to align HR initiatives with business objectives, providing guidance on organisational design, workforce planning and succession.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment, develop employer branding and build talent pipelines.
• Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews and development planning.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, conduct salary benchmarking and ensure internal equity.
• Manage employee relations matters, conduct investigations, handle grievances and ensure compliance with labour laws.
• Lead organisational development and change‑management programmes to boost engagement and productivity.
• Identify capability gaps, design learning and development programmes and evaluate training outcomes.
• Utilise HRIS platforms (preferably SAP SuccessFactors) and create HR dashboards using Power BI to provide actionable workforce insights.
• Develop, review and implement HR policies and governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading HR functions across the full employee lifecycle.
• Proven ability to act as a strategic business partner and influence senior leadership.
• Strong knowledge of talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, employee relations, organisational development and HR compliance.
• Demonstrated expertise in using HR analytics to drive decision‑making.
