About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee our agricultural operations specializing in palm trees, fruits, and vegetables. The role involves leading all aspects of production, ensuring sustainability, and driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance agricultural production and efficiency for palm trees, fruits, and vegetables.
• Lead and manage all aspects of agricultural operations, including planting, cultivation, harvesting, and distribution.
• Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with agronomists and experts to optimize crop yields and sustainability practices.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of agricultural operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, distributors, and stakeholders.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulations to implement best practices.
• Report directly to the executive team, providing insights into operational performance and strategic direction.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in agricultural management, focusing on palm trees, fruits, and vegetables.
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale agricultural operations.
• Strong understanding of modern agricultural technologies and practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive success.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and sustainability practices in agriculture.
