General Manager – Marketing Agency

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a dynamic marketing agency in Riyadh. The role combines strategic vision with hands‑on operational oversight to drive growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the agency’s long‑term strategic plan and business objectives.
• Assume full P&L responsibility, managing budgets, forecasts and resource allocation.
• Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations to ensure seamless project delivery and optimal resource utilisation.
• Identify new market opportunities, cultivate key client relationships and lead high‑level pitches.
• Serve as senior point of contact for major clients, ensuring expectations are exceeded.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
• Establish and track KPIs across all departments to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience (General Manager, Managing Director, Head of Operations) within a marketing, creative or advertising agency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
• Demonstrated success in driving business growth, acquiring new clients and managing a profitable P&L.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving abilities and deep understanding of the marketing landscape.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the Saudi Arabian or GCC market is highly desirable.
