General Manager – Steel Fabrication & PEB

About the role

Westeel Metal Industries is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its steel fabrication and pre‑engineered building business in Saudi Arabia. The role oversees all commercial, operational and financial aspects, driving growth and ensuring profitable, safe, and on‑time project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the company’s P&L, setting and monitoring revenue, margin, cash flow and cost targets.
• Develop and execute the annual business plan, production targets and profitability objectives.
• Lead sales and business development across Saudi Arabia and regional markets, building relationships with EPC contractors, developers and government entities.
• Oversee estimation, commercial control and contract negotiations to ensure projects are selected based on profitability and strategic value.
• Direct engineering, procurement, production and project execution teams to improve efficiency and quality.
• Ensure strict quality, health, safety and environmental standards are met on all projects.
• Provide clear monthly reporting on commercial, operational and financial performance to senior management.
• Build a strong management team, implement scalable systems and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior manager or General Manager in steel fabrication, manufacturing or related industrial sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving revenue and profitability targets.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Experience in developing and executing business plans, budgets and growth strategies.
• Excellent understanding of engineering, production processes and supply‑chain management.
