General Practitioner (GP) – Riyadh

About the role

iDoc Health is expanding its clinical team in Riyadh and seeks qualified General Practitioners to deliver safe, high-quality medical care through its digital healthcare platform. The role combines virtual consultations with the use of AI-assisted clinical tools while maintaining independent clinical judgment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual medical consultations and manage common acute and chronic conditions within the GP scope.
• Perform clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, follow-up and patient education.
• Identify red flags and arrange urgent care, emergency escalation, specialist referral or in-person assessment as needed.
• Review laboratory results and other investigations, communicating findings and recommendations to patients.
• Prescribe medications in line with Saudi regulations, clinical guidelines and iDoc policies.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation using iDoc’s EMR system.
• Utilise digital and AI-assisted clinical tools while retaining professional responsibility for decisions.
• Participate in quality, patient-safety and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with medical, operations, product and technology teams to enhance the digital patient journey.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent recognised medical degree.
• Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) classification and professional registration as a General Practitioner.
• Preferably 5+ years of clinical experience after internship in General Practice, Primary Care or Family Medicine.
• Strong ability to assess and manage common acute and chronic conditions independently.
• Excellent Arabic communication skills and good English communication skills.
• Full-time availability in Riyadh.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Experience using digital healthcare technologies and AI-assisted clinical tools.
