Geomatics System Analyst III – AI & GIS

About the role

The Geomatics System Analyst III will design, develop and deploy AI solutions that support decision‑making across multiple geomatics domains. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to translate business problems into AI models, lead the full product lifecycle, and mentor fellow technical experts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI models and machine‑learning algorithms to enhance geomatics operations.
• Rapidly deploy AI capabilities through APIs, micro‑services and cloud platforms.
• Design coding challenges and data pipelines used to train AI systems.
• Liaise with clients to understand problem statements and define AI‑driven solutions.
• Lead discovery, prototyping, experimentation, launch and continuous improvement of AI products.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for model development and deployment.
• Build and present demos, prototypes and conversational interfaces that showcase AI value.
• Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT AI project teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence (mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in AI or software development.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to solve complex coding problems.

Required skills

• Programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, Swift.
• Data engineering and big‑data processing.
• Geographic Information System (GIS) and geospatial data handling (plus).
• Experience with large language models (GPT‑4, Claude, Gemini, Mistral) and retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Fine‑tuning, prompt engineering, and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma).
• Development of AI agents or multi‑agent systems.
