GIS Installation & Commissioning Supervisor

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for a motivated GIS Installation & Commissioning Supervisor to lead operational and administrative activities for grid automation projects in Saudi Arabia. You will act as a key support to leadership, ensuring compliance, tracking KPIs and driving continuous improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day operational administrative tasks and support Operations Management in strategic planning, budgeting and reporting.
• Analyse workflows, propose improvement initiatives and monitor operational KPIs, generating performance reports.
• Liaise across departments to streamline communication, supervise junior administrative staff and manage procurement documentation, supplier communication and vendor follow‑up.
• Organise meetings, draft agendas, record minutes and manage action points.
• Assist in audits, compliance checks and enforcement of corporate policies.
• Support onboarding, training logistics and HR administrative tasks.
• Participate in risk‑management initiatives, business continuity planning and special projects assigned by management.
• Coordinate with team leaders and project managers to log and follow up NCRs and update the competency matrix.
• Provide admin support for travel, hotel arrangements and training activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• 5‑8 years of experience in a technical sales role with strong knowledge of grid automation (automation and communication) portfolios.
• Field work experience with grid automation systems.
• Proven ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.
