Global Project Planning Manager

About the role

The Global Project Planning Manager will shape and maintain consistent project scheduling standards across a worldwide organization, based in Saudi Arabia. You will strengthen planning capabilities, support regional teams, and ensure complex projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, standardize, implement, and continuously improve global project planning methods, processes, tools, and scheduling standards.
• Support regional project teams during tender and early phases by creating realistic, high‑quality baseline schedules.
• Review project schedules for feasibility, consistency, completeness, quality and execution risks.
• Conduct planning quality assessments, due‑diligence reviews and regional project reviews.
• Train, coach and support regional schedulers on systems, tools, methodologies and best practices.
• Ensure appropriate qualification, capability and availability of scheduling resources globally.
• Provide expert guidance on complex planning challenges and identify process‑improvement opportunities.
• Communicate planning information and recommendations clearly to teams, stakeholders and leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in large‑scale, multi‑regional projects.
• Proven track record of establishing and maintaining scheduling standards and baselines.
• Strong analytical and risk‑identification skills.
• Ability to coach and influence without direct authority across cultures.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex planning data to senior stakeholders.
