Government Relations Officer (Saudi National) – Riyadh

About the role

The Government Relations Officer will serve as the primary liaison between Imdad and Saudi government entities, ensuring full compliance with labour, immigration and regulatory requirements. Based in Riyadh, the role involves managing official documentation, processing government transactions and maintaining strong relationships with authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact with ministries and agencies such as MHRSD, GOSI, Jawazat and ZATCA.
• Process work visas, Iqama issuance and renewal, exit/re‑entry visas and other immigration matters for employees.
• Maintain registrations and compliance on platforms including Qiwa, GOSI, Muqeem, Mudad and Absher, in coordination with HR and Finance.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding by completing all required government procedures and clearances.
• Coordinate commercial registrations, licences, chamber of commerce certificates and other permits.
• Prepare and submit official letters, forms and documents to government authorities.
• Monitor changes in Saudi labour law and immigration regulations and advise the company on impacts.
• Maintain organized, confidential records of all government‑related documents.
• Arrange visits to government offices and represent the company during inspections or audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in Government Relations, HR Operations or a similar role within Saudi Arabia.
• Good knowledge of Saudi HR and immigration procedures.
