Guest Relations Agent

About the role

The Guest Relations Agent ensures every guest enjoys a personalized, seamless experience from arrival to departure at the five‑star Sofitel Riyadh. You will be the face of the hotel for VIPs and repeat guests, delivering attentive service that reflects the brand’s French elegance and Saudi hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and recognize guests, especially VIPs and repeat visitors, with tailored amenities and services.
• Coordinate with Concierge, Butler, and Sofitel Club for events, restaurant promotions, limousine arrangements, and special requests.
• Prepare guest arrival compendiums, update repeat‑guest history, and manage welcome cards and in‑room amenities.
• Maintain close contact with Airport Concierge to anticipate arrivals and departures.
• Handle guest complaints, refer issues as needed, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Review arrival lists, verify room allocations, and ensure all special requests are fulfilled.
• Promote inter‑hotel sales, in‑house facilities, and participate in regular Guest Relations team meetings.
• Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to build rapport with colleagues, management, and multicultural teams.
• Calm, courteous, and guest‑focused attitude.
• Good judgment when dealing with difficult situations.
• Degree in Tourism or Hotel Management.
• Minimum 2 years of Guest Relations experience in a four‑ or five‑star hotel.
