Handover Manager – Building Systems & QA/QC

About the role

The Handover Manager will lead the structured, timely, and high‑quality transfer of completed buildings from the Project Management Team to Facility Management. This role ensures that every building meets design specifications, regulatory standards, and operational readiness before handover.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that buildings are ready for handover and comply with design specifications.
• Monitor testing and commissioning activities for electrical, mechanical, civil, and architectural systems.
• Identify gaps, create punch‑lists, and close issues prior to acceptance.
• Support Facility Management in technical evaluations and decision‑making.
• Inspect new and existing buildings for compliance with building codes, safety, zoning, and energy‑efficiency requirements.
• Document inspections, issue notices for violations, and follow up to ensure corrective actions are completed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building handover, QA/QC, or facility management within the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and commissioning processes.
• Ability to produce clear inspection reports and manage punch‑list items.
