Head of Collections

About the role

As Head of Collections you will lead and execute the end‑to‑end collections strategy for Khazna’s lending products in Saudi Arabia. You will drive performance across early, mid and late‑stage collections, design efficient processes, manage collection partners and ensure regulatory compliance while keeping a customer‑centric approach.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a collections strategy tailored to the KSA market.
• Build and lead a high‑performing in‑house collections team and manage outsourced agencies.
• Create a scalable, segmented collections framework for different risk profiles.
• Own the full collections life‑cycle: early, mid, late‑stage, legal recoveries and write‑offs.
• Monitor daily performance metrics and drive continuous process improvements.
• Ensure collections practices comply with SAMA regulations and consumer protection laws.
• Track KPIs such as DPD, roll rates, cure rates, recovery rates and cost of collections.
• Identify, contract and manage third‑party collection agencies and legal firms, setting benchmarks and SLAs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in collections, credit risk or operations, preferably in fintech, banking or consumer lending.
• Proven leadership managing large teams and external vendors.
• Deep knowledge of Saudi regulatory requirements (SAMA, consumer protection).
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and negotiation skills.
• Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English.
