Head of QA/QC – Corporate Quality Manager

About the role

The Corporate Quality Manager will lead the QA/QC function across multiple construction projects, ensuring that all work complies with ISO 9001 standards and company quality policies. Reporting to senior management, the role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on supervision of project quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Corporate QA/QC department for all active projects.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001.
• Define quality policies, procedures, KPIs and objectives; monitor performance through regular reporting.
• Supervise Project QA/QC Managers, engineers, inspectors and multidisciplinary quality teams.
• Ensure proper execution of Project Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans, method statements and related procedures.
• Conduct internal and external audits, manage NCRs and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Oversee supplier and subcontractor quality performance, including audits, FAT, SAT and material approvals.
• Manage testing, commissioning, punch‑list and project close‑out activities.
• Coordinate with Operations, Technical Office, Procurement, Engineering and Project Management to maintain consistent quality standards.
• Prepare executive quality reports for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in construction, including at least 3 years in a senior QA/QC leadership role.
• Proven experience with buildings, infrastructure, utilities and MEP projects.
• Professional certifications such as IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, PMP, ASQ CQM/CMQ‑OE or Six Sigma are highly preferred.
