Healthcare Nutrition Specialist – Medical Representative (Jeddah)

About the role

Danone MENA is seeking a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist (Medical Representative) to join its Specialized Nutrition team in Jeddah. You will be responsible for driving market share of SN brands, building scientific relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), and ensuring their nutrition needs are met.

Key responsibilities

• Influence HCP attitudes and behaviors through regular visits to hospitals, clinics, and private practices.
• Deliver scientific audio/visual presentations and ensure HCPs receive accurate product information and clinical studies.
• Identify business opportunities within the assigned area, develop tactics, and implement a weekly call cycle.
• Monitor competitor activities and recommend actions to protect market position.
• Maintain high product knowledge, respond to queries/complaints, and ensure compliance with WHO and local infant formula regulations.
• Prepare and submit promotional activity reports and quarterly business plans.
• Organise seminars, nutrition education events, and manage daily database and administrative processes.
• Achieve quantitative and qualitative KPIs on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis.
• Participate in team meetings, share market insights, and support event planning.
• Collect intelligence on HCPs, monitor competitor offers, and conduct face‑to‑face medical detailing.

Required profile

• Ability to influence HCP attitude and behavior through scientific communication.
• Experience conducting scientific audio/visual meetings and presentations.
• Competence in area management, business planning, and KPI tracking.
• Knowledge of WHO and local government codes of ethics for infant formula products.
• Strong product knowledge and capability to address HCP queries and complaints.
