Healthcare Nutrition Specialist – Medical Representative (Riyadh)

About the role

Danone MENA is seeking a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist to join its Specialized Nutrition team in Riyadh. You will act as a medical representative, building scientific relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and promoting Danone’s nutrition solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, clinics and private practices regularly to establish and maintain scientific‑based relationships with HCPs.
• Present clinical data, product benefits and scientific evidence to influence HCP prescribing decisions.
• Organise and deliver audio‑visual scientific meetings and nutrition education seminars.
• Identify business opportunities, monitor competitor activities and develop tactical plans to protect market share.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and ensure compliance with WHO and local regulations for infant formula.
• Handle HCP queries, complaints and follow‑up on promotional activities.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on visits, activities and market insights.
• Collaborate with the regional team in weekly meetings to review performance against KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in medical detailing or pharmaceutical sales, preferably in nutrition or healthcare.
• Strong scientific communication skills with the ability to discuss clinical studies.
• Ability to travel frequently across the assigned territory.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with HCPs, KOLs and decision‑makers.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving quantitative and qualitative KPIs.
