About the role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking an experienced Heavy Truck Driver to transport a variety of merchandise, including hazardous chemicals and manufacturing equipment, across designated routes. The role involves ensuring safe and timely delivery while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Haul cargo from origin to destination, ensuring proper loading and secure transport.
• Inspect trucks daily for safety, mechanical condition, and compliance with hazardous material regulations.
• Verify cargo is correctly loaded and documented before departure.
• Maintain accurate shipping documents and report any discrepancies.
• Follow all SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) procedures and encourage reporting of unsafe conditions.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of professional truck driving experience.
• Good physical condition and ability to endure long periods on the road.
• Punctuality and strong adherence to delivery schedules.
• Attention to detail when handling hazardous or fragile materials.
