Hotel Development Internship – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Hotel Development Internship offers hands‑on experience in sourcing and evaluating new lodging projects across Saudi Arabia. Interns work remotely as part of Kerten Hospitality’s global development team, contributing to real‑world feasibility studies and stakeholder mapping.

Key responsibilities

• Source and identify lodging development opportunities in Saudi Arabia by meeting owners, developers, and consulting firms.
• Analyze financial, operational and strategic feasibility of potential projects.
• Map key stakeholders such as developers, brokers, investors and landlords.
• Support financial feasibility analyses and preliminary site evaluations.
• Identify strategic partners and high‑value opportunities through data analysis and networking research.
• Prepare reports, presentations, pitch decks and internal briefing materials.
• Assist with outreach, meeting coordination and relationship‑management activities.

Required profile

• Background or education in real estate, business, hospitality or related fields.
• Strong interest in Saudi hospitality development and lifestyle real estate.
• Exposure to real‑estate networks or connections is a plus.
• Self‑driven, highly independent and able to deliver results remotely.
• Ownership mindset with initiative to source development opportunities.
• Strong research, analytical and presentation abilities.
• Based in Saudi Arabia with familiarity of the local market.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in PowerPoint.
