Hotel Maintenance Technician – Kitchen

About the role

The Kitchen Technician provides on‑site maintenance and repair services for hotel guests and facilities. Working independently, you will respond to guest requests, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve guest repair requests for kitchen equipment, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and visual inspections of tools and equipment.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut‑off valves; use lockout/tagout procedures before work.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and communicate shift activities using approved programs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and HVAC diagrams to troubleshoot complex MEP issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. with vocational/technical training.
• At least 2 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and Universal CFC certification.
• Ability to lift 50 lb unassisted and work at heights or on ladders.
