Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Housekeeping Manager leads the Housekeeping Department of an Accor‑affiliated hotel, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and guest comfort across rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces. This role is pivotal during the pre‑opening phase and throughout daily operations, driving brand compliance, guest satisfaction and efficient budget management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Housekeeping Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cleaning standards aligned with Accor and Mantis brand requirements.
• Recruit, onboard, train and develop the housekeeping team, establishing manpower plans and duty rosters.
• Participate in snagging, mock‑up inspections and handover processes to prepare the resort for opening.
• Assist in OS&E and FF&E planning, receiving, inventory and setup.
• Prepare operating budgets, monitor expenses and ensure compliance with health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Lead daily housekeeping operations, ensuring timely room releases, luxury‑level presentation and prompt guest service.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Security, Laundry and Food & Beverage departments.
• Conduct regular inspections, quality audits and corrective actions to maintain brand standards.
• Coach, mentor and motivate the team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability and the Accor Heartist values.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a housekeeping department, preferably in a pre‑opening or luxury hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of Accor and Mantis brand standards, as well as health and safety regulations.
• Ability to develop SOPs, manage budgets and create manpower plans.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work closely with multiple hotel departments.
• Leadership qualities to coach, mentor and drive a high‑performing team.
