Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our housekeeping department within an Accor‑affiliated hotel. The role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and guest satisfaction while supporting a multicultural team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping attendants and related staff.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces to verify compliance with hotel and brand standards.
• Assign tasks and room allocations, monitor room status and collaborate closely with the Front Office to guarantee timely room availability.
• Handle guest requests, complaints and housekeeping‑related issues promptly and professionally.
• Conduct regular inspections, follow up on maintenance issues, damages and lost‑and‑found items.
• Manage the use, storage and control of cleaning chemicals, equipment and supplies.
• Monitor linen and amenity stock levels and report shortages to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Train, coach and support team members to maintain high service and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, health and security procedures.
• Assist the Housekeeping Manager with daily reports, inventory and operational follow‑up.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a senior housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and hotel cleanliness standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to motivate and supervise a multicultural team.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving skills and capacity to work under pressure.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
