About the role
The HR & Admin Manager will lead the human resources function, aligning HR initiatives with the company’s overall strategy. Reporting to senior management, the role involves representing the organization externally on HR matters and fostering a positive work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Direct the HR department and implement the company’s HR strategy.
- Represent the organization in external HR-related matters.
- Develop and execute HR initiatives that support business objectives.
- Identify internal and external talent needs and drive competency development.
- Ensure HR policies and standards align with corporate goals.
- Promote open communication and employee suggestion channels.
- Monitor HR performance, provide training, and report to the VP of Corporate Services.
- Manage government relations and ensure legal compliance.
- Oversee payroll, benefits, vacations, business trips, and end‑of‑service processes.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and related procedures.
- Supervise employee services and performance appraisal systems.
- Assess training needs and manage training programs.
- Maintain a positive work environment and analyze turnover trends.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Management or a related field.
- Completion of at least one HR certification course (e.g., HR KPIs, CIPD, HRCI).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR managerial role.
