HR Director – Military & Defence Sector

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Director to lead the human resources function for a growing company operating in the military and defence sector in Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, you will shape the people strategy, support organisational growth and ensure the talent pipeline meets long‑term objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall HR strategy aligned with business goals.
• Provide strategic HR advice to the CEO and senior leadership.
• Lead talent acquisition for corporate, technical, engineering and manufacturing functions.
• Design and execute Saudiisation and localisation programmes.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management and compensation structures.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi labour legislation and defence‑sector governance.

Required profile

• 10+ years progressive HR experience, including senior management or director level.
• Proven experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably within defence, aerospace, engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi employment legislation and localisation requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with CEOs and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
