HR Workforce Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical HR Workforce Specialist to support large-scale international sporting events in the Khobar/Dammam region. The role will design scalable workforce plans, forecast staffing needs, and ensure cost-effective deployment of temporary staff while meeting operational deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Translate event requirements into detailed workforce plans covering venue operations, hospitality, security, logistics and guest services.
• Develop and continuously update workforce forecasts based on attendance, functional needs and real-time event dynamics.
• Partner with functional heads to align staffing solutions with commercial and operational goals, influencing senior stakeholders with data-driven insights.
• Create and maintain dashboards that track hiring progress, headcount, deployment readiness and utilization.
• Analyze workforce KPIs using advanced Excel techniques to support decision-making and cost optimisation.

Required profile

• At least 5 years (60 months) of experience in workforce planning, forecasting and analytics.
• Strong commercial focus and ability to balance operational readiness with cost efficiency.
• Experience supporting large-scale event staffing and temporary workforce deployment.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and manage competing workforce demands.
