HSE Officer

About the role

The HSE Officer will support Alfanar Group in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace in its manufacturing facilities. The role involves monitoring compliance with health, safety and environmental policies, preparing incident reports and assisting with risk assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Report any employee illness, health concerns or safety incidents.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and identify potential hazards.
• Assist in updating the HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control) documentation.
• Measure factory noise levels and recommend corrective actions or PPE.
• Document incidents, near‑misses and accidents, and support basic investigations.
• Gather employee suggestions for health and safety improvements.
• Participate in toolbox meetings, evacuation drills and fire drills.
• Prepare and distribute HSE awareness materials.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Safety Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in health, safety or environmental roles, or fresh graduates with up to 2 years of relevant exposure.
• Ability to collaborate with teams, communicate effectively and follow established procedures.
