HSE Officer – Rig Move Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HSE Officer to support and enforce health, safety and environmental policies during rig move operations across on‑shore locations in Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing dismantling, loading, transport, off‑loading and rig‑up activities, ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor day‑to‑day HSE compliance during all phases of rig move operations.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and hazard assessments on site.
• Support the HSE Supervisor in preparing risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and lifting plans.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings and pre‑job meetings with crews and contractors.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to site safety procedures.
• Identify unsafe acts or conditions and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in incident reporting, investigations and follow‑up actions.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection checklists and daily reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience, including at least 1–2 years in rig‑move or drilling operations.
• NEBOSH IGC, OSHA or equivalent international HSE certification.
• Valid certifications in H2S Awareness, First Aid and Fire Fighting (preferred).
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco HSE standards and lifting operations.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
