About the role
The HSE Specialist will identify, assess and advise on workplace risks, recommending and implementing measures to achieve a Zero‑Accident culture. The role also oversees hazard reporting from safety walk‑arounds, safe‑start cards and other notifications.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor implementation of the company EHS policy and drive safety‑behavior across all levels.
- Audit the EHS management system, plan internal audits and manage external third‑party audits.
- Prepare and minute EHS progress reviews, investigate accidents and report findings.
- Maintain equipment used for safety tasks and ensure daily maintenance.
- Manage vendor EHS appraisal and rating, and support continuous improvement of integrated health, safety and environmental management.
- Communicate safety and environmental rules to all employees and ensure proper training.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a focus on health, safety and environmental management.
- Qualified EMS & OHSAS Lead Auditor (IRCA) and NEBOSH certification.
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in the Oil & Gas sector involving machining, welding and NDT activities, or 3 years in a similar role.
