HSE Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an HSE Specialist to support the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety and environment programs on our Saudi Arabia site. The role works closely with the HSE Supervisor and line managers to ensure full compliance with client and company safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the HSE Supervisor in organising and executing HSE programmes and safety‑related assignments.
• Advise department managers on corrective and preventive actions required to implement the HSE programme.
• Continuously assess workplace risks, review Job Safety Analyses and Hazard Identification reports.
• Report habitual violators and ensure disciplinary actions are taken according to ARM rules or client procedures.
• Investigate accidents, injuries, property damage and other incidents, produce reports and follow up on preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate records of all incidents and update HSE statistics on a monthly basis.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, monitor PPE usage and equipment certification.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions to promote a safety‑conscious culture.
• Coordinate HSE inductions for new personnel and ensure fire extinguisher, oxygen‑fuel cylinder and plant inspections are performed.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in health, safety and environment roles.
• Strong knowledge of ARM and client safety programmes.
• Ability to communicate corrective actions clearly to line managers and site personnel.
• Attention to detail in record‑keeping and incident reporting.
