HSE Technician

About the role

The HSE Technician will help create a safe working environment across all BCR buildings and sites. Working closely with the HSE team, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental programs.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE programs across the organization.
• Promote compliance with HSE policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct workplace inspections, identify risks and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in internal audits and risk assessments related to HSE, GMP and other quality systems.
• Assist in maintaining ISO 45001 and other management system requirements.
• Deliver HSE awareness and safety training to employees.
• Monitor and report HSE performance, incidents, near‑misses and safety observations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to foster a strong safety culture.
• Support compliance with company policies, occupational health and safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Perform other HSE‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 0‑1 year of experience in HSE, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• HSE Practitioner Certificate.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• ISO 45001 auditing.
• Knowledge of hygiene and Food Safety Standards.
• Experience with GxP internal audits.
• Understanding of HSE standards.
