Human Resources Assistant (Remote)

About the role

This fully remote position supports core HR operations for a distributed team. You will keep employee records accurate, help drive onboarding and off‑boarding processes, and ensure HR workflows run smoothly while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records across HR systems.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding, including documentation and scheduling.
• Prepare HR documents such as contracts, letters, and internal communications.
• Respond to basic HR inquiries and route requests to the appropriate team members.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, documentation standards, and data‑privacy requirements.
• Organise digital HR files using standardized naming and filing systems.
• Monitor HR workflows, identify delays or gaps, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain HR trackers and provide regular status updates.
• Assist with audit preparation by ensuring documentation is complete and accessible.
