Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist provides pragmatic, proactive, and business‑focused HR services to a regional customer base. Reporting to the Regional HR Manager – EMA, the incumbent acts as the first point of contact for employees and leaders, delivering core HR operations across recruitment, learning, development, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment processes by liaising with HR service partners and hiring managers.
• Implement onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
• Administer employee benefits, including registrations, changes, and terminations.
• Identify training needs, manage training registrations, and monitor learning grants.
• Develop, maintain, and clarify HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely HRIS data entry.
• Lead statutory committee meetings and coordinate employee engagement activities.
• Conduct workplace investigations and handle employee grievances.
• Assist site leaders with performance and compensation management.
• Manage vendor contracts for services such as time‑and‑attendance and insurance.
• Maintain digital and hard‑copy employee records.
• Obtain required government approvals and support business continuity planning.
• Provide regional HR support and contribute to process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
• Experience handling benefits administration and HR policy implementation.
• Ability to work closely with line managers and regional leaders.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on delivering business‑aligned HR solutions.
