ICS Cybersecurity Engineer (NEOM Green Hydrogen Project)

About the role

Air Products is seeking an experienced Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Cybersecurity Engineer to join the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project in Duba, Saudi Arabia. The role is part of a dedicated cybersecurity task‑force responsible for field verification of cyber assets, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform field verification of design, implementation and testing of cyber assets to meet cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, document and maintain a cybersecurity asset register and related deliverables under the guidance of the Site Cybersecurity Lead.
• Lead risk‑assessment exercises, implement recommendations for Air Products designs and vendor‑supplied control systems.
• Validate firewall rules, secure remote access, endpoint hardening, asset inventory, access controls and logging before system energisation.
• Coordinate with engineering, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and client operations teams for cyber‑security field verifications.
• Act as the technical interface between project execution, commissioning teams and vendors during field verification activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting large‑scale construction, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, start‑up and hand‑over phases.
• Ability to work on an 8‑weeks‑on / 2‑weeks‑off rotation schedule at the Duba site.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary engineering and client teams.
