ICT Engineer - ELV & ICT Systems

About the role

KEO, an architecture and project management consultancy, is looking for an ICT Engineer in Riyadh. The role covers the technical oversight of ELV and ICT systems, including fire and life safety, building management systems, data centers, outside plant networks and fiber optics, from material approval and shop drawing review through to installation, testing and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and approve material submittals for ELV and ICT systems, including fire and life safety, BMS, data centers, OSP networks, fiber optic cabling and intelligent unified platform installations.
• Review shop drawings and give detailed feedback on them.
• Oversee the correct installation, implementation, testing and commissioning of ELV/ICT systems across the project.
• Guide and supervise installation and site teams so they follow project specifications and international standards.
• Coordinate with project teams to deliver on time and align with milestones, and contribute to planning, execution and contracts management.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and stakeholders for seamless system integration.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as design specifications, installation procedures and maintenance manuals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ICT, Telecommunications or a related discipline.
• 18-20 years of total professional experience in ICT/ELV engineering, with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in ICT infrastructure design, implementation and maintenance.
• Mandatory experience on high-rise and 5-star hospitality (luxury hotel) projects.
• Proven track record in material submittals, shop drawing reviews and site supervision.
• Ability to manage complex projects, coordinate stakeholders and meet deadlines, with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• ELV systems, fire and life safety systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Data centers, outside plant (OSP) networks and fiber optic cabling (backbone and distribution)
• Passive and active network components, and integrated smart building platforms
• Certifications such as Cisco, CompTIA or Microsoft are preferred
