Inbound Officer

About the role

We are seeking an Inbound Officer to join our logistics operations team. The role ensures accurate and efficient receiving of inbound shipments, maintaining quality standards and proper documentation while coordinating closely with warehouse, transportation, and quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and execute inbound receiving and unloading activities.
• Verify received goods against invoices, purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Inspect product quality, quantity and expiration dates for compliance.
• Report damaged items, shortages or discrepancies immediately.
• Manage batch creation and ensure proper labeling of received goods.
• Organize and transfer pallets to designated warehouse zones.
• Coordinate truck scheduling and gate management to avoid delays.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and update transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Prepare daily receiving and discrepancy reports.
• Follow all safety, quality and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse receiving or inbound operations.
• Good knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanning.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
• Physical ability to lift, move materials and stand for extended periods.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field (preferred).
