Industrial Electrical Technician

About the role

The Industrial Electrical Technician will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across our milling and feed plant operations. You will ensure reliable power supply, equipment safety, and full compliance with electrical standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, replacing defective wiring, components, and devices.
• Inspect panels, motors, drives, and PLC systems to guarantee operational integrity.
• Record all maintenance activities and corrective actions in ERP (SAP) systems.
• Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety codes and regulatory requirements.
• Support engineers during installations, upgrades, and modification projects.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to junior technicians on safe work practices.
• Manage electrical spare‑parts inventory for availability and cost efficiency.
• Participate in energy‑efficiency and power‑optimization initiatives.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and restore power safely to minimize downtime.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical certification.
• 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, control panels, and industrial electrical systems.
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred) for maintenance documentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting ability, safety awareness, and attention to detail.
